Hosting is a billion dollar industry or maybe a trillion dollar, I don’t know for sure but since web hosting is such a big industry there a lot of web hosting companies like bluehost, hostgator, ipage, fatcow etc. Closer home too there are many hosting companies but I will not discuss them because I have a strong reason to believe that their uptime is not great. Today I will be discussing the benefits of choosing blue host as your web host. Yesterday I posted a review about Hostgator wordpress web hosting. Why another review? Its good to know about all the web hosts so that you can make an informed choice regarding whom to pay your money.
There are some features of bluehost and with this bluehost review I will shed light on all those features which are unique to it compared to other webhosts which I will discuss shortly:
There are some features of bluehost and with this bluehost review I will shed light on all those features which are unique to it compared to other webhosts which I will discuss shortly:
- Unlimited hosting space
- Unlimited bandwidth. I don’t think many of us understand what it means but all of them say that bandwidth is unlimited. Just like your internet provider who says unlimited data but never provides it
- Hosting unlimited number of domains. That feature is fairly true. You can use as many domains as you want on the same account and bluehost is not going to stop you.
- Online support in the form of chat, email or phone 24*7*365. Yep that’s the first thing I look for in a web host. If I mess things up I need support.

- 99.9% uptime guaranteed which means your site may go down only once in a year for 1 minute. Well that defines uptime.
- DDOS protection. If you have heard of the recent attack on GoDaddy by anonymous then you must know that this thing screwed them. I can’t say that bluehost is 100% hacker proof but then they are at least making an attempt.
- 3000 GB monthly data transfer
- 2500 email accounts
- Unlimited disk space
